SamsArtMess is joint project between myself and artist Sam Whitney. How did this come to be? I kept seeing Sam’s incredible art on his Instagram and every time I would get ideas for poems that would pair with the artwork. 

So I messaged him and asked if he’d be interested in a series that does just this, he provides artwork and I provide some poetry words. 

Initially the plan was to release a book only, but then I thought “wait, I love web-comics, let’s make ait a web-comic! and weekly!”

This meant I had to get Sam to commit to creating 52 for 2026. Thankfully he agreed!

Will we continue into 2027? Who knows, but I sure hope so!
