Description
It’s no joke that The Princess Bride is one of my favorite movies of all time. The idea for this illustration came to me while watching the movie. I wanted to draw the scene with Westley going down the hill with Buttercup watching and have “As You Wish” spelled out in the grass. It was a trick to figure it out but it was a lot of fun. The clouds ended up coming out looking pretty cool.
This was done on 6×9 toned paper with Micron ink pens, Copic markers, Prismacolor colored pencils, and gouache paint.
