I was working on a few other pieces when I heard Carrie Fisher passed away. I turned the page in my sketch book and started working on this. I wanted to give a striking powerful image that also showed the softer, more vulnerable side of the character and the actress. 

The Death Star exploding in the background is symbolic. I’ll let you decide of what.
